Q: When will the virtual race take place?
Q: Do I have to be a miler to run The Monmouth Mile?
Nope! Setting a mark for the mile distance is appropriate for any runner!!
That is up to you! We give you the window from July 31st-August 1st to run your mile. Results must be reported to us by August 2nd. Results will be compiled and posted on August 3rd.
Q: What is a "virtual race"?
Due to the recent healthy pandemic, large gatherings are not possible. A virtual race is a way around this. Lace them up solo, and hit the ground running. Results will be self reported. We will provide information closer to race day for self reporting process.
Q: How does registration pricing work?
The Monmouth Mile uses a graduated pricing structure. The first 25 participants to sign up receive the cheapest registration price of $13, the next 50 are at $15 and the remaining participants are $17. Sign up early for the best pricing!!
Q: Is there race day registration?
Nope! With the virtual event, registration will close on July 30th.
Q: Are there age group awards?
Our main focus this year is fundraising for The Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide, and providing you with a great virtual race experience. So while there are no age group awards, Runner's High has graciously offered gift cards for the top 3 male & female finishers.
Q: How will my time be recorded?
You record your own time and self report it. Remember, you are only cheating yourself. We will provide information on self reporting closer to race day.
Q: Is there an age restriction for The Monmouth Mile?
There is no age or ability limit, but you should be able to run a mile comfortably.
