Q: Do I have to be a miler to run The Monmouth Mile?

Nope! Setting a mark for the mile distance is appropriate for any runner!! 

Q: When and where will the race take place?​

Race day for The Monmouth Mile in 2021 is August 8th. Events will start at 6PM at Holmdel High School. Race day schedule will be developed as event gets closer. 

Q: What is The Monmouth Mile

The Monmouth Mile is a community based mile race on the track, capping off then night with both a women's and men's professional race. 

Q: How do I get my bib number?

Bib numbers will be available on race day at the event. Pins in!! 

Q: How does registration pricing work?

The Monmouth Mile uses a graduated pricing structure. The first 25 participants to sign up receive the cheapest registration price of $15, the next 50 are at $17 and the remaining participants are $20. Sign up early for the best pricing!!

Q: Is there an age restriction for The Monmouth Mile?

There is no age or ability limit, but you should be able to run a mile comfortably. 

Q: Is there race day registration?

Yes! There is race day registration for The Monmouth Mile! 

Q: Are there age group awards?

Yes! While heats will be formulated off of seed times, winners of the below age groups (both men's and women's) will receive a free pair of Diadora shoes! Prizes will be claimed at Runner's High in Freehold, and winners will be announced after the "Community Mile" heats are complete.

Age Groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
